Instructions for Authors

Authors of accepted Abstracts are required to submit the following material: 

l  One-page Extended Abstract

l  Eight-page Full Paper

l  Signed Consent to Publish Form

The Instructions and Templates for the one-page Extended Abstract and eight-page Full Paper, as well as the Consent to Publish Form, are made available by Taylor & Francis at http://www.balkema.nl.

Submission Procedure

Authors are required to follow exactly the Instructions and Templates for preparation of their contributions and to complete the submission process through the online submission system:

Username and Password, as provided in the notification of acceptance message, are required to access the online submission system.

The deadline for submission of Extended Abstract, Full Paper, and Consent to Publish is September 18th, 2013.

Extended Abstract and Full Paper will be subjected to a review process. Authors will be informed about the review results by October 29th, 2013.

After notification of acceptance, the hard copies of the Extended Abstract, Full Paper, and Consent to Publish must be immediately sent by mail and delivered at the following address:

Final Publication and Presentation

Accepted contributions will be published by Taylor & Francis in a Hardbound Book of Extended Abstracts and a CD-ROM of Full Papers. Publication in the Proceedings and presentation at the Conference are conditioned to final acceptance of Extended Abstract and Full Paper and to the registration of the presenting Author at the Conference. Each registered Author will be entitled to present a maximum of two papers at the Conference.

Extended versions of selected papers presented at the Conference will be considered for publication in Structure and Infrastructure Engineering - Maintenance, Management, Life-Cycle Design & Performance, an international peer-reviewed scientific journal endorsed by IABMAS, and included in the ISI Science Citation Index.
