Congratulations to the success of the Foundation Ceremony of IABMAS China Group and the First National Academic Conference on Bridge Maintenance and Safety.

The conference was held in Shanghai, China on April 13th, 2012 and was organized on behalf of IABMAS China Group under the auspices of Tongji University.

Over 160 people interested in the fields of bridge maintenance, safety and management attended the conference. Conference chairs of IABMAS 2014, Professors Airong Chen and Dan M. Frangopol, were invited and delivered presentations on the related subjects. Professor Dan M. Frangopol was conferred as the Honorary Member of IABMAS China Group. Nine other well esteemed professors presented provoking lectures as well.
