INTRODUCTION

IABMAS 2014
The 7th International Conference on Bridge Maintenance, Safety and Management (IABMAS 2014) is organized on behalf of the International Association for Maintenance And Safety (IABMAS) under the auspices of Tongji University, Shanghai, China. Professors Airong Chen and Dan M. Frangopol will serve as Conference Chairs for IABMAS 2014, and Professors Haifan Xiang and Lichu Fan will serve as the Honorary Chairs. The Conference will be held in Shanghai, China on July 7th-11th, 2014 (http://www.iabmas2014.org).
IABMAS
The Association encompasses all aspects of bridge maintenance, safety, and management. The objective of the Association is to promote international cooperation in the fields of bridge maintenance, safety, and management for the purpose of enhancing the welfare of society. Aim of the Conference
The aim of IABMAS 2014 is to integrate all the outstanding work concerning bridge maintenance, safety, and management and related topics, to promote the related research quality, to bridge the gap between theory and practice and to strengthen international cooperation among bridge engineers, managers and researchers.
Delegates
This Conference will be of interest to researchers, representatives from all sections of bridge engineering, bridge engineers serving in transportation departments, designing institutions and construction corporations, consultants, contractors and local authorities interested in all aspects of bridge maintenance, safety and management.

Authors interested in delivering their opinions concerning bridge maintenance, safety, and management are kindly invited to submit 300-word abstracts by January 15th, 2013 (extended deadline) through the online submission system. Authors will be notified regarding the acceptance of their abstracts by March 15th, 2013. Full papers are due by September 18th, 2013. Final acceptance of full papers will be notified by October 29th, 2013.

Publication
An international press will be in charge of the publication of Conference Proceedings, which will be distributed to registered participants at the Conference. Extended versions of selected papers presented at the Conference will be considered for publication in Structure and Infrastructure Engineering, an international peer-reviewed journal endorsed by IABMAS and included in the ISI Science Citation Index (http://www.tandf.co.uk/journals/nsie).
